MMM CELCIUS
MMM CELCIUS is the NSF NCAR'S MMM laboratory's Community Engagement and Learning Committee for Innovative and Usable Science. The committee consists of a team of MMM staff who work together to broaden student participation in MMM science and learning opportunities by
- Facilitating and streamlining communication, both internally and externally
- Promoting and broadening participation in MMM engagement and learning opportunities
- Evaluating engagement and learning events

MMM CELCIUS Summer Visitor Cohort
A week-long visitation that provides graduate students the opportunity to
- Engage with MMM staff to discuss research topics, career development, etc.
- Present a summary of their work and research interests to receive feedback from experienced scientists
- Participate in career development activities with other intern program attendees
- Tour NSF NCAR facilities
- Join a cohort of graduate students at different stages of their academic journey
- Cultivate an ongoing connection with MMM which will be sustained beyond the summer program
Student selection is complete for the Summer 2025 program. We expect applications for the 2026 program to open near the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026, at which time we will provide a link to the application.
